Kira | Yoga
Kira first rolled out her mat at HYB in 2023, and it didn't take long before yoga became much more than a workout—it became a place to recharge, reconnect, and find a little more joy in everyday life. After serving as a proud member of the HYB Karma Krew, she's grateful to now be sharing her love of yoga with the community that first welcomed her in.
A registered nurse by background, Kira is also a mom to three incredible kids and a proud grandma to one sweet grandchild. She owns and operates several Airbnb properties and loves creating welcoming spaces where people can slow down, relax, and feel at home. Before this chapter of her life, she owned a farm and a farm-to-table restaurant, experiences that deepened her appreciation for community, nature, and nourishing others.
When she's not teaching, you'll usually find Kira embracing one of her favorite ways to recharge—lifting weights at the gym, throwing pottery, paddleboarding, or spending time at the beach. She believes some of life's greatest moments happen outdoors, with sandy feet, sunshine, and salt air.
Kira believes yoga is about progress, not perfection. Her classes are welcoming, lighthearted, and grounded in the belief that everybody deserves to move, breathe, and feel at home on the mat. She encourages students to approach their practice with curiosity, self-compassion, and a sense of play, honoring where they are each day.
Whether you're stepping onto your mat for the very first time or have been practicing for years, Kira hopes you'll leave each class feeling a little lighter, a little stronger, and more connected to yourself than when you arrived.
