Yoga Nidra, also called yogic sleep, is a journey deep into your subconscious to a blissful state of being which promotes clarity and healing, resulting in mental and physical rejuvenation. We’ll begin this class with restorative movement and poses to gently prepare the mind and body for a deep meditation. You’ll then be guided through specific instructions to slowly lull your body into a deep state of relaxation while your mind remains fully awake. This practice uses body scanning, breath awareness, and imagery to progressively help your mind and body deeply rest and restore. 

Yoga Nidra is an opportunity to detach and explore your mind. Not only does this practice induce deep relaxation, but it can also have lasting effects on your mental state and be an effective technique for reduced anxiety, stress relief, and improved sleep. HYB SCULPT Teacher Training

SCULPT is a 45 minute Pilates inspired workout focused on controlled movements which work your entire body. SCULPT is a low-impact, high-results toning workout with the fire of infrared heating panels. After warming up the body, we do 14 sets of intervals with 2 minutes of work each. SCULPT intervals include thigh, glute, core, arm, and posterior chain work. All moves in this class are slow and controlled to focus on engaging and burning out each muscle group.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Attend a minimum of 20 HYB SCULPT classes prior to training and a minimum of 5 during training.

  • Complete SCULPT Teacher Training Modules on HYB@Home.

  • Watch and practice to SCULPT practice videos on HYB@Home.

  • Complete a 2.5 hour online Pilates Anatomy Course. (Additional cost of $15)

  • Attend 4 in-person SCULPT Training sessions.

  • Complete all assignments between each in-person training session; approximately 5 hours per week (20-30 hours total).

If you have had any aches, pains, or mobility issues, we have a great opportunity for you! On Saturday, July 12 from 7:30 AM-11:00 AM, Bend Movement Performance Physical Therapy will be performing free injury screens. Your screen will be completed by a doctor of physical therapy who is experienced in treating a wide range of orthopedic issues.

These will be free 15-minute-long mini appointments where you can ask the physical therapist any questions you have. We definitely recommend you check this out, because we want you to be able to push yourself and train with us for a long time, and these screens are a great resource to stay injury free!

Who Can Attend?

Anyone who has taken a minimum of 25 Barre classes can participate in this course regardless of your background. Individuals who have prior experience with dance, Pilates, yoga, or group fitness instruction will find it easier to comprehend and master the information, but our training is designed so that everyone has the tools for success if they devote the time to practicing!

Even if you don't want to teach Barre, this is a great course to learn how to perfect your technique.

Our Barre Teacher Training Covers:

  • Proper body alignment in all exercises

  • How to set up, modify, and amplify exercises

  • The importance of cueing, transitions, language, and music

  • How to motivate and encourage clients

  • Basic choreography for two classes and sample playlists

  • An opportunity to practice teach and get live feedback from a master Barre teacher

Prior fitness certification or experience is recommended, but not necessary. Participants need to have an ability to motivate and coach others and the ability to choreograph high energy classes with an emphasis on alignment and safety.

HYB Instructor Qualities

  • Ability to motivate and inspire students while teaching an exceptional class focused on form

  • A passion and love for The Hot Yoga Barre experience

  • Accurate technique, excellent leadership, and professionalism inside and outside the studio

  • A practical knowledge of anatomy, movement, and exercise physiology

  • The ability to count music and choreograph classes

  • Training/experience in Boot Camp, Barre, Yoga, Pilates or other group exercise methodologies helps with mastery of the information

Join us for a blissful hour of Yoga Nidra where you’ll leave feeling relaxed, refreshed, and restored. Yoga Nidra, also called yogic sleep, is a journey deep into your subconscious to a blissful state of being which promotes clarity and healing, resulting in mental and physical rejuvenation. We’ll begin this class with restorative movement and poses to gently prepare the mind and body for a deep meditation. You’ll  then  be guided through specific instructions to slowly lull your body into a deep state of relaxation while your mind remains fully awake. This practice uses body scanning, breath awareness, and imagery to progressively help your mind and body deeply rest and restore. 

Yoga Nidra is an opportunity to detach and explore your mind. Not only does this practice induce deep relaxation, but it can also have lasting effects on your mental state and be an effective technique for reduced anxiety, stress relief, and improved sleep. A short Yoga Nidra meditation can leave you feeling as though you’ve just gotten hours of deep sleep. Come unwind with us!

Connect with the natural rhythm of the earth and sky through our Full Moon and New Moon classes. The full moon is a time to release things that no longer serve a purpose in our lives while the new moon is a time to set intentions and ask the universe for things we’d like to come into our lives.  Harness the power of the full moon on March 14, 2025. At each full moon, the intensity of lunar light and energy is at its greatest. Aligning with the cycles of the moon creates space in the mind to re-center and embrace peace, clarity, and renewal. Offering gratitude and awareness at this time allows profound clarity to guide us in what to let go, creating space for new, fresh, energy and light in the next cycle of life. We will begin this class with a brief mediation focused on letting go, followed by a slow flow including Chandra Namaskar (moon salutations) and finish with calming restorative poses.
