HYB's BURN classes are a fusion of strength and movement. Inspired by high-intensity interval training (HIIT) to burn the maximum number of calories, this class is set to upbeat music and combines strength training with cardio intervals to achieve a balance of work and recovery.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Attend 10 BURN classes prior to training

  • Practice teach a minimum of 10 hours outside of training

  • Two, 2-hour practice teach sessions in studio

Who Can Attend?

Prior fitness certification or experience is recommended, but not necessary. Participants need to have an ability to motivate and coach others and the ability to choreograph high energy classes with an emphasis on alignment and safety.

  • Ability to motivate and inspire students while teaching an exceptional class focused on form

  • A passion and love for The Hot Yoga Barre experience

  • Accurate technique, excellent leadership, and professionalism inside and outside the studio

HYB's Hot Barre Blast classes take your Barre workout to the next level by adding a level of intensity that most Barre classes don't offer. Our classes aren't your average Barre classes and our training isn't either! Join us to learn to how to perfect your Barre technique and lead your students on a journey of fitness and fun by integrating elements of Pilates, Yoga, Ballet, and functional fitness training into the most amazing Barre class ever- Hot Barre Blast! By learning to teach Hot Barre Blast you'll be trained to offer a full body workout that challenges the mind, body, and soul in an intense, encouraging, and creative way!

Who Can Attend?

Anyone who has taken a minimum of 25 Barre classes can participate in this course regardless of your background. Individuals who have prior experience with dance, Pilates, yoga, or group fitness instruction will find it easier to comprehend and master the information, but our training is designed so that everyone has the tools for success if they devote the time to practicing!

Even if you don't want to teach Barre, this is a great course to learn how to perfect your technique.

Our Barre Teacher Training Covers:

  • Proper body alignment in all exercises

  • How to set up, modify, and amplify exercises

  • The importance of cueing, transitions, language, and music

  • How to motivate and encourage clients

  • Basic choreography for two classes and sample playlists

  • An opportunity to practice teach and get live feedback from a master Barre teacher

HYB’s 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) program is a dynamic and challenging journey that will give you the tools to transform your life and practice. Our training program is centered on learning the core principles of yoga and how to integrate them into daily life. On this journey students will learn the key attributes of what makes a great teacher and will be well versed in philosophy, anatomy, alignment, and assisting. Grounded in Power Yoga with influences from timeless yoga masters and traditions, this program is designed to immerse students in the Art of Teaching and transformation.

Whether you want to take your practice to the next level or you want to teach 1000’s of people, this program is for you as it will give you the roots that you need to grow into whatever level you desire. Our program is designed for passionate people who want to become powerful teachers. Through this immersion in asana, meditation, and self-discovery you will learn to become more effective in every area of your life. This will be an opportunity to learn more about yourself and your own personal power.

During HYB’s 200 Hour Teacher Training Program participants will teach every day of training, sometimes in small groups with peers and sometimes within the HYB community. In addition to providing the foundation and roots of yoga, we will also give you the opportunity to TEACH and assist in the studio with real clients- something missing from many teacher training programs.
