Meghan is a Richmond native who loves everything the city has to offer, especially the foodie culture and the outdoor scene. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Virginia Commonwealth University, where she also played volleyball for the Rams as a middle blocker and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Richmond. Meghan enjoys fielding questions from angry Rams and Spiders about why she wanted the most well-rounded education Richmond has to offer and a perpetual divide in her school loyalties. Meghan is an avid cyclist, having ridden over 25,000 miles on her road bike and counting. She loves her dog, Rosalita, as well as music and traveling. Meghan works in the healthcare field when she’s not practicing or teaching. She is incredibly passionate about advocating for others for better health and wellness overall and is fortunate to do that in her career in healthcare and at HYB.

Meghan found The Hot Yoga Barre after working and going to graduate school full time. Practicing yoga on a regular basis initially helped to reduce the stress those demands placed on her, and later morphed into a spiritual and personal growth journey. The Hot Yoga Barre provided Meghan a community of other like-minded people who are passionate, hard-working and kind. Meghan hopes to provide others the same opportunity for grace and self love that she learned through her yoga practice in her classes as a teacher.
