Erin | Barre, BURN

Erin-richmond-barre.jpg

Erin spent her childhood swimming, playing water polo, and dancing in Connecticut, but moved to RVA to attend the University of Richmond. After graduating in 2017 with majors in Leadership Studies and Philosophy/Politics/Economics/Law, a minor in English, and 4 Atlantic 10 Swim and Dive Conference Champion rings, she hung up her goggles and started working at a startup in Glen Allen. Coworkers first brought Erin to HYB and she was instantly enamored with the FIR heat and community.

16 years of intense athletic training had asked Erin to find physical failure on a daily basis. At HYB, however, the heat relaxed her strained muscles, the community accepted and encouraged her, and Barre classes asked her to find *the shake* on the brink of physical failure, instead of risking injury. Inspired by this environment, Erin became trained in both Barre and BURN. Find Erin sweating it out, trying to work puns into every workout, and genuinely wanting to help you be the best version of yourself!
