Client Advisor

The Hot Yoga Barre Client Advisor is responsible for delivering an exceptional experience to our clients. The client advisor is responsible for helping to maintain a welcoming environment in the studio and assists with studio client relations, operations and sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Make a great impression by greeting each individual who comes into the studio in a warm and friendly manner.
  • Understand the brand and deliver exceptional studio tours.
  • Exemplify excellent client care; connect with clients by listening and understanding their feedback and needs.
  • Understand the differences between each class and know which class types are best for each client based on client needs and goals.
  • Check students into class.
  • Assist new and current clients with studio tours, memberships, classes, teachers, schedules and overall yoga etiquette.
  • Responsible for developing referrals, and assisting with sales and marketing. 
  • Schedule private lessons and yoga tune ups with new and existing members to help guide their practice, and offer support and encouragement.
  • Complete new member paperwork and enter into database.
  • Answer all telephone calls and emails promptly and with a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Continually deliver exceptionally high cleanliness standards for the studio. 
  • Follow up with clients after classes on their experience to better understand their needs and recommend membership and private lessons.
  • Attend regular classes to better understand each class and get to know each instructor's teaching style. 
  • Monitor practice room temperatures.
  • Assist with yoga studio laundry.
  • Represent The Hot Yoga Barre as an Ambassador both inside and outside the studio. Promote the studio and the yoga community.
  • Collaborate with HYB team on all aspects of studio operations including marketing, sales, retention, client satisfaction, instructor development, schedules, improvements and changes. 
  • Show up on time and fulfill all job responsibilities.
  • Comply with all HYB policies and procedures; other job duties as needed.

Education, Skills, and Requirements

  • An understanding of the yoga lifestyle and a passion for growing The Hot Yoga Barre community.
  • Outgoing, friendly personality with an ability to connect with others.
  • Strong work ethic and habits including attendance, punctuality, and organizational skills.
  • Customer focused: Serving with respect, compassion and a sense of humor.
  • Ability to multi-task and function in a fast paced environment; self-starter and team player.
  • Willingness to gain understanding and familiarity with different types of classes and programs we offer.
  • Proficiency with computers, client software and MS Office.
  • Previous customer service experience required; sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
