Are you a runner? Maybe you’re training for an upcoming race and logging some major mileage? Come learn how yoga can help to improve your overall running performance in this workshop! We’ll begin with a slow flow focusing on runner specific poses that you can use at home to improve your run. Next, we’ll break down certain poses using props and modifications to meet runners where they are in terms of flexibility. A RRCA Certified Running Coach will discuss how yoga and flexibility fit into a training regiment, the balance component of improving speed and strength in your miles, and the benefits that both activities can have on one another in terms of mental fortitude and going the distance, both on the road and on your mat.
