Are you logging some miles and wondering how those miles may be affecting your overall performance and risk of injury? Come learn about the anatomy, form and function behind yoga and running. We’ll begin with a slow flow class focusing on runner specific poses. After, you’ll learn from a Registered, Licensed Occupational Therapist on the potential for injury in runners, a breakdown of the anatomy in terms of form and function, and how yoga and running go hand in hand to help improve performance in both activities. You’ll also receive information on how best to avoid certain runner-prone injuries.
If you sign up for this workshop you will also get FREE access to our Yin class on Sunday, November 11th at 7:00 PM after the Richmond Marathon and Half-Marathon the day prior… you’ve earned it! Come stretch it out at HYB!
Also, check out our Yoga For Runners: Going the Distance on September 8th at 2:00 PM. We will focus on balance, using props in your practice, and how yoga can improve your running mechanics!
